Toni Starešinić is a Croatian keyboardist, composer, producer and arranger. He is the founder and leader of the musical groups Chui and Mangroove, as well as a permanent member of Zmaj Orko Star, and the supporting bands of Josipa Lisac and Je Veux. He has been active on the Croatian music scene for almost twenty years and received the status of Independent Artist from the Ministry of Culture in 2020. He composes music for both theatre and television. So far, he has published twenty albums of original material, while also participating as guest performer on albums by Tomislav Goluban, Edo Maajka, Josipa Lisac and many other artists. He frequently collaborates with the Croatian Radiotelevision Jazz Orchestra, with whom he has recorded two albums. He is a member of the We Move Music Croatia delegation for European jazz music showcases, and is also the organiser of the JazzIst jazz festival. He has won 12 Porin music awards (the Croatian equivalent of Grammy) and 15 Croatian music critics’ awards Rock & Off. He has also been presented with the Status award for best instrumentalist.
