MAJA VIDMAR KLARIć
Maja Vidmar Klarić is the Executive Director of Croatia Records, the largest record label in the region, with nearly 15 years of experience in the music industry. Prior to this role, she served as Director of ZAPRAF, the collective management organization for the protection of phonogram producers' rights. Her work combines business and legal expertise with the creative side of the recording industry, including repertoire development, working with artists and teams, and shaping projects that connect music production, distribution, and promotion in the digital environment.
She has led and participated in numerous industry projects and events, including Record Store Day, National Album Day, and the Nova Ploča Awards, Top HR Music Awards, and others. She was a member of the working group responsible for drafting the Croatian Copyright and Related Rights Act, collaborated with the State Intellectual Property Office, and worked closely with stakeholders across the music industry. She is actively involved in international and regional music industry initiatives. She is a member of the Croatian Copyright Society and the Coordination of Creative and Cultural Industries within the Croatian Employers' Association. She holds a Master's degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, and is currently completing a postgraduate specialist program in Intellectual Property at the University of Zagreb.
