KRISTINA DELFIN KANCELJAK

Kristina Delfin Kanceljak is Managing Director of HUZIP - Croatian Performers' Rights Collecting Society since July 2025. and member of the AEPO-ARTIS Board (European organisation that represents collective management organisations of performers’ neighbouring rights). Prior to her new appointments, she was an attorney-at-law for nearly 30 years, with a focus on intellectual property law, media regulation, and the cultural and creative industries. She studied postgraduate studies in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and an interdisciplinary postgraduate study in Intellectual Property at the University of Zagreb.

During her career, she acted as permanent legal advisor and correspondent to many professional associations and consulting agencies in culture, especially in the music and AV field. Kristina participated in numerous advisory and legislative processes in the Republic of Croatia, and was a permanent member of working groups in the negotiations and accession process to the European Union, for 2 chapters: Education / Culture and Intellectual Property. As a lecturer and panellist, she regularly participates in domestic and international expert meetings and congresses on intellectual property. She is a long-time member of the Management Board of the Croatian Copyright Society - ALAI.
