EMILY PILBEAM

Emily Pilbeam presents the BBC Introducing Mixtape on BBC 6 Radio Music and co-hosts the BBC Introducing in Leeds and Sheffield Show. Having worked with BBC Introducing, both in production and as a presenter, for 10 years and within the music industry, Emily has made herself an important tastemaker within the UK music scene. As well as her own shows, Emily regularly covers on 6 Music, covering broadcasting royalty such as Steve Lamacq, Huw Stephens, Chris Hawkins, New Music Fix Faily and has covered Craig Charles and Lauren Laverne too. Outside of her work on the radio, Emily has worked as an A&R for London based independent music label and promoter Bad Vibrations, which is known for championing underground sounds and disruptive talent. She also has previously worked with non-profit organisation Launchpad, providing advice and sign-posting for new, upcoming artists that are just starting out.
