RH SPACE ORKESTRA

RH SPACE ORKESTRA is a musical collective built on the collision of jazz, hip-hop, and psychedelic funk. Their sound is a simultaneously raw and sophisticated blend of old-school hip hop aesthetics, jazz improvisation, and contemporary electronic textures. Built on interaction between MCs and a live band, the project focuses on an organic sound, a fusion likened to MF DOOM meeting Bootsy Collins. Mixing humor, social commentary, and introspection through a stream-of-consciousness style, the ensemble mocks its own ego and the seriousness of others. They use humor as a smokescreen, turning provocation into a participatory musical experience.
