LHD is an instrumental quartet featuring the core members of the legendary Bambi Molesters. Moving beyond their surf-rock roots, the band creates a broader musical language with a strong sense of atmosphere. Their 2022 debut Off the Grid gained international attention, including airplay on BBC 6 Music, followed by their acclaimed 2025 album Summer is Over, which further explores the elastic boundaries of their genre. Blending instrumental precision with a cinematic feel, LHD shape their live performances as fluid, groove-driven experiences. At SHIP, they will perform a special live score alongside the 1929 silent film Birtija, bringing their sound into direct dialogue with early cinema.
